Living in a time when teenagers have to live their lives not knowing what the future is going to look like for them is extremely scary. For the younger generation, they still have years of life ahead of them and one president could change the whole timeline for them. Years of not knowing when that said president could change the laws for people apart of the LGBTQ+ community. One morning, people a part of the queer community could wake up and it be illegal to marry the same gender as them or it be illegal to be transgender. As a teen myself, I can’t just sit around and wait for that stuff to happen.
Not only is it scary for LGBTQ+ teens, it's also scary for females. To be told that female teens that were sexually abused, can’t have an abortion because it’s “murder," or that healthcare will never be free and they will have no support through their abortion journey.
